Data Privacy
When your agents run, their prompts and the model's responses are sent to a large language model provider. ORQO is built so that, by default, this happens only under a Zero Data Retention guarantee — your data is processed to answer the request and nothing more.
Zero Data Retention (ZDR)
When you use ORQO's included model access (the platform credits bundled with every plan), your prompts and outputs are routed only to model providers that operate under a Zero Data Retention policy. Under this policy:
- Your data is not stored by the provider after the request is answered.
- Your data is not used to train the provider's models.
This applies to everything your agents send — the contents of your documents, the questions you ask, the results your workflows produce. The model sees what it needs to generate a response, returns it, and retains nothing.
Zero Data Retention means your business information never becomes part of a third party's training data or sits in their logs. For most teams, this is the single most important question to answer before putting real work through an AI platform — and on ORQO's included model access, the answer is built in.
Finding ZDR Models
Most of the leading frontier models are available under Zero Data Retention. You can see at a glance which ones qualify:
- ZDR badge — In the model picker, every model that supports Zero Data Retention shows a "ZDR" badge next to its name.
- ZDR only filter — Toggle the "ZDR only" filter to hide everything except models that carry the guarantee, so you only choose from the protected set.
If a model isn't offered under Zero Data Retention, it simply won't appear when the filter is on.
When a Model Isn't Available Under ZDR
If a particular model can't be served under a Zero Data Retention policy, ORQO does not offer it on the included platform access. You can still use that model — but only by connecting your own provider API key for it (see Bring Your Own Key).
When you bring your own key, calls go through your own account with that provider, and that provider's data policy applies — governed by the agreement and settings you have with them directly, not by ORQO's included access.
The Choice, Clearly
| Included model access (platform credits) | Bring your own key | |
|---|---|---|
| Data handling | Guaranteed Zero Data Retention | Governed by your own agreement with that provider |
| Who you contract with | ORQO | The model provider directly |
| What's available | Models that qualify for ZDR | Any model your provider account supports |
In short:
- Included / platform access = guaranteed Zero Data Retention.
- Bring your own key = governed by your own agreement with that provider.
Both options are valid — pick the one that matches your organization's requirements. If Zero Data Retention is a hard requirement, stay on included access and use the ZDR only filter when choosing models.
